Good news to share

It seems that the news media consists of 95% bad news with an occasional sound byte of good news at the end of a broadcast. My partner, Mark, reminded me today that there is plenty of good news to share, especially at ddm. Our top 10 clients are all healthy and active. Plus, they represent an array of industries. We’re providing marketing counsel in industries such as healthcare, education, human resources, NASCAR, economic development, mass transit, and even financial services. In the case of our financial services clients, most of our work is with mutual fund companies, which are often more stable than their counterparts on the banking side.
In addition to our current base of clients, we’re being well received as we seek meetings with prospective new clients. Some of these prospects are in the industries mentioned above, while others come to us from some unknown source. There are opportunities in the marketplace and we’re fortunate to be finding some of them.
None of this, however, would matter in the least if we didn’t have a superb team of talented, caring and committed professionals on board. I’m thankful everyday that I get to work with people who are driven by a sincere desire to do their best work in serving their clients. Our clients know that they can trust their ddm counterparts, and Mark and I know it, too. That fact alone drives us to continue to push forward to maintain a healthy, active company. You see, our team members at ddm don’t want to let down their clients or their peers, and Mark and I don’t want to let down our team.
So in an era when good news appears to be rare, it’s inspiring to know that there is a team of marketing professionals that continues to thrive in partnership with one another and our clients. Regardless of the times, that’s always good news.
